Amino acid analysis
Peptide quantitation and/or amino acid identification is available via amino acid analysis of peptide acid (typically) or enzymatic hydrolyzates. Hydrolyzed residues are derivatized by AccuTag chemistry and separated by microbore RP-HPLC. Quantitation is via comparison with standards. The results are the mean of two analyses. The minimum quantity of peptide or protein that can be accurately analyzed is approximately 50 nmol. Prior S-reduction or analysis of unusual amino acids such as methyl-Lys, cysteic acid etc will entail a small additional cost. Please contact us at info@federationbioscience.com with your requirements.
Reversed-phase HPLC
Analytical or preparative RP-HPLC can be undertaken to the customer’s requirements. Optimized peptide separation will be provided for assessment of peptide/protein purity or for resolution and collection of enzymatic fragments prior to identification by mass spectrometry and/or amino acid analysis.
MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry
Matrix-assisted laser desorption mass spectrometry is available for purity analyses or TOF/TOF sequencing. Please contact us with your requirements and we shall be pleased to provide advice and a quotation.
